This Interreg North-West Europe (2012-2015) aimed to promote the further development and use of tidal and flow energy. To this end, various technical systems were tested and compared at various locations and in various circumstances. The focus is on innovative systems that work with small differences in height (in tides) and at low flow rates. In addition, research was conducted into the effects on the environment, cost-benefit analyses were carried out and research was conducted into public-private partnerships in the development and operation of tidal power stations. The project was developed by us and we wrote the full application. The total budget was approximately € 6.4 million and the subsidy approximately € 3.2 million.
